A programme made by young people and viewable on television over the entire Brussels Region was, until February 1999, an impossible dream. It became reality because a network of young people and organisations believed in it and fought to make it happen.

Today the programme celebrates its 10th anniversary, evidence enough that Coup de Pouce still motivates young people, generation after generation … and is still of interest to the general public.

The young people concerned come from all parts of Brussels and work together as a group. They all feel a certain need to express themselves. They are curious, motivated, enthusiastic, and extremely diverse in terms of their backgrounds, their lives and worlds. They are at the heart of the project and it is through them that a view of the world is constructed.
